Premier Cleaning Service has been in existence for the last 40 years. Built from the ground up by the company's
original founder in the 1960's it saw rapid early expansion.
In 1997 the company's founder retired and ownership of the company
passed on to 4 partners, Stephen and Barbara Pickersgill and Andrew and Ann Liddle. Between 1997 and 2005
the partners focussed their attentions on expanding the business in the North of England, including cities such
as Manchester, Leeds, Middlesborough, Sunderland and Newcastle upon Tyne.
In 2005 the business expanded into Scotland with establishment in its beautiful capital city, Edinburgh. In 2009
Premier gained its first contract in Glasgow under the direction of its local management team.
In mid 2009 Andrew and Ann retired from the business.
Stephen Pickersgill - Senior Partner (Operations)

Stephen Pickersgill has been part of Premier since the late 1970's when he joined it at grass roots level as a cleaner. Proving to be
a hard worker and keen to take on additional responsibility he was soon promoted to supervisor, then manager, with the extra remit
of expanding the business' interests across Tyneside. Under his diligent leadership the business grew quickly.
In 1997 Stephen became a Partner in the business and remains so to this day.
Douglas Ward - Head Accounts Manager (Head Office)

Douglas has worked in our Head Office in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, for the past 5 years.
Initially, Douglas moved into the business to manage the company's accounts having previous
experience running his own business. Douglas has a very strong knowledge of IT, which has certainly
been of great benefit in moving the company forward.
Douglas now has the role of managing the general running of the head office in Thirsk, from which accounts, payroll
and new business initiatives are operated.
Elaine Wright - Payroll Manager (Head Office)

Elaine works for Premier at our Head Office in Thirsk where she manages the payroll distribution
among
all of Premier's 350+ work force.
She is a very friendly and approachable person and all staff find her easy to talk to whenever they
have any queries about their wages.
She is a genuine assett to the business!
Angela Farley - Area Manager (Tyneside)

Angela Farley is the company's longest term employee having worked alongside Stephen for some 30 years, a fact that
bears testimony to her dedication and loyalty.
Like Steve she has worked her way up from grass roots level, having started with the company cleaning one of its
first contracts in Newcastle city centre. Now, as Regional Manager, she oversees the entire operation on Tyneside.
Jean Dawson - Customer Services Manager

Jean Dawson has a long track record with Premier. Proving to have a great rapport with clients her logical
place with the company is in the role of Customer Services Manager. Based on Tyneside she works hard making
sure that all clients receive regular contact thus ensuring their ongoing happiness with the service being provided.
Suzanne Anderson - Tyneside Office Manager

Suzanne has worked for Premier for almost 20 years. For several years she served as a travelling supervisor
before later being appointed to oversee a large, permanent cleaning team at one of Premier's biggest clients in
the North East.
When the client relocated Suzanne's excellent administrative skills ensured her a move into a new role
within the company in which she manages the day to day operational issues on Tyneside.
Alan Bell - Tyneside Sales Representative

Alan's track record in sales spans several decades. He is a natural born salesman who joined the company
approximately 7 years ago and has added many new clients to the company's portfolio since.
He doesn't just stop when he gets a signature on the dotted line either... The professional that he is, he
maintains an ongoing, open dialog with our clients, occassionally calling back to make sure that all his
promises are being adequately delivered on by the company.
Joe Coates

Joe has worked for Premier for about 20 years now - proving himself to be an invaluable, loyal member of
staff.
His main, day to day duties, involve him ensuring that all of Premier's client sites in the Tyneside area are
kept well stocked with all of the cleaning products and materials that our cleaners require.
Chris Whyte - Area Manager (Yorkshire)

Chris is another long-term, loyal employee of Premier Cleaning Service.
She manages the operation of our business in Yorkshire, which includes the two busy
cities of York and Leeds as well as their outlying areas.
She has a very hands-on and down to earth approach to ensure that all clients in her area
receive a first class service.
June Hinds - Area Manager (Manchester)

June is our manager in Manchester.
She worked for the company briefly several years ago in Manchester but transferred to another
employer when part of Premier's interests in the area were sold.
She made a welcome return to working for us in 2008 and has made excellent progress in solidifying
our business' interests in this important area.
Kevin Cairns - Regional Manager (Edinburgh & Glasgow)

Kevin is our manager for Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Kevin started for the company back in 2005 as assitant area manager. Kevin showed great
initiative with a high attention to detail He developed a good rapport with the staff under his care
and a keen ability to liaise with clients. In 2006 he was promoted to area manager and has proven to
be an invaluable assett to the company.
We value our staff at Premier Cleaning Service. We therefore work with other local businesses
putting together a range of induction and training programs to ensure that our cleaners are equipped to
offer the best possible service whilst working in a safe manner, using approved methods.
As a company we are constantly working towards accreditation that affirms our dedication to our staff's well being and
safety at work.
